This report provides a political economy analysis of the education sector in Nepal. Political Economy Analysis (PEA) is ‘concerned with the interaction of political and economic processes in society: the distribution of power and wealth between different groups and individuals, and the processes that create, sustain and transform these relationships over time.’ The purpose of this particular study was to understand how political and economic factors affect the implementation of the School Sector Reform Plan (SSRP) 2009-15.
