The research team met in Dhulikhel, Nepal from December 5th to 9th 2019 to launch the project and revise research questions; agree on the research framework and timeline. During this event, we were able to visit a local school where to interact with teachers and observe special education provision for children with visual impairment. We were also able to meet with officials at the local municipality to understand some of the local policy initiatives in relation to inclusive education and the local government’s work with schools and non-governmental sector.
